Coming Home
to the Body
19 Sept. 2026 · 10am - 5pm · Lydbury North · Shropshire
Space and time to unwind, soften into the body & tap into our authentic knowing and creativity to revitalise body, mind and soul.
This is a spacious and gently-held day for – what for many of us is much-needed space and time – (re)connecting with our bodies and deeper selves, creativity, inner process and compass, which often falls by the wayside in our often all-too-busy lives.
Grounding ourselves deeply in our bodies through embodied awareness, movement enquiry and deep inner listening is a potent means for stepping into a reciprocal dialogue with our body and psyche, creating space for body-held information to move into awareness, releasing what is stuck and tending to what arises safely and naturally. This in turn allows us to inhabit our bodies and lives more fully and supports greater health and vitality.
For this work, we’ll be drawing on integrative bodywork, somatic movement and creative, embodied enquiry practices, including contact, dance & movement improvisation, witnessed moving, intentional touch, deep inner listening, embodied imagination and will be working solo, as a group-whole and in dyads and triads.
The morning will be spent with gentle practices focussing on connecting with and inhabiting our bodies more fully, deepening awareness and creating space for emergence. The afternoon will provide space for more in-depth movement enquiries and exploration of inner/outer processes.
The day will allow plenty of time for weaving a safe and supportive space, dialoguing, reflection and integration.
