Connections with

the Conscious Body

Adventures in movement and imagination

1 June - 20 July
Tuesdays 18:30 – 21:00
8-week closed group, online

This course will offer an opportunity to ground in the body and imagination through explorations based on the practices of somatic and authentic movement, improvisation, dialogue and creative expression.

Authentic Movement is an improvisational practice that allows us to connect with the knowing held in our bodies, enriching our awareness of the deeper processes unfolding inside us.

Working in a closed group and engaging in regular movement practice can enhance our sense of safety as we build community, allow us to drop deeper as trust develops in relationship, and bring a sense of continuity and consistency to our exploring.

Each of the sessions will be centred around the invitation to connect with what’s alive in us and seeks expression. The sessions will allow time for grounding in the body, weaving a safe and supportive space, movement exploration, journaling/drawing, dialoguing and integration.

The course is open to everyone but will be limited to a group size of 12 to allow for a rich and meaningful journey.
